Introduction to basketry techniques

A 2 day workshop to discover the simple pleasure of weaving some magic from common plants in your garden or neighbourhood. Discover suitable materials,-how to collect and store, Create with the

various techniques such as string making, tension trays, looping, interlacing and adding basketry

techniques to your garden.

Rib basket workshop

A 2 day workshop. To introduce you to the joy of creating a rib basket. Rib baskets are well suited to being created from materials available from your garden or neighbourhood. Rib baskets are also very versatile in functions and form.

Just Playing with Sticks

A 1day workshop to explore the versatile method of

tension trays made with a variety  of

deciduous sticks and branches

Explore Interlacing

Create a wide variety of shapes using

interlacing  (also known as random weave) using a variety of deciduous sticks and branches

Basketry Techniques to Enhance your Garden

Explore simple methods using materials from your garden to create a unique space.
